This isn’t your average educational event—it’s a launchpad for creatives who want to elevate their artistry, hone their craft, and connect with the best in the business.

Taking place May 31–June 2, 2025, in Orlando, Florida, Beacon unfolds during two of the most influential events in the industry: Premiere Orlando and the North American Hairstyling Awards (NAHA). Picture this: days filled with mentorship, education, and inspiration, capped off by some of the most exciting gatherings in the professional beauty scene. Here’s why this program is a must for anyone serious about their career.

What Makes Beacon a Standout?

Industry Icons as Mentors

Beacon gives you access to some of the most innovative minds in beauty. Think Sam Villa, Elizabeth Faye, and Geno Stampora—names that define excellence and creativity. These mentors aren’t just there to lecture; they’re there to inspire, guide, and share the lessons they’ve learned from being at the top of their game. Whether it’s mastering technical skills or building your brand, you’ll walk away with tools to thrive.

Exclusive Access to Premier Events

Attending Beacon also means tickets to Premiere Orlando and NAHA—an incredible opportunity to immerse yourself in the artistry and innovation shaping our industry. From live demos to breathtaking showcases, you’ll experience firsthand what it looks like to take your craft to the next level.

Swag Worth Bragging About

You’ll leave with more than memories. Beacon participants receive curated product bags from top-tier brands—tools and products to inspire your creativity and elevate your kit.

Who’s Eligible?

If you’re a student enrolled in cosmetology, barbering, esthetics, or nail programs during 2024, this is your chance to be part of something transformative. Whether you’re just starting out or already building your portfolio, Beacon offers a space for growth, connection, and next-level inspiration.

The Application Process

Beacon is competitive, but the journey begins with a few key steps:

  1. Create Your Digital Portfolio: Share your work via BEAUTISTA.

  2. Show Off Your Social Media Presence: Instagram or TikTok, this is where you let your personality and creativity shine.

  3. Get a Recommendation Letter: Have someone who believes in you back you up.

  4. Submit a Video Introduction: This is your chance to make an impression.

Applications are open now and close on January 17, 2025, at 5 PM PST. There’s an application fee of $25 for PBA members and $50 for non-members. If you’re accepted, tuition is $199, which covers all program materials and swag. Travel costs are up to you, but let’s be real—it’s an investment you won’t regret.

Beacon alumni don’t just leave inspired—they leave equipped to build careers that transcend trends. Many go on to become NAHA finalists and winners, salon owners, and educators, while others find their paths in editorial work or brand representation. This program has a legacy of sparking careers that make waves across the industry.

What’s more, the connections you’ll make at Beacon could last a lifetime. This is your chance to meet like-minded creatives, forge friendships, and become part of a community that’s as passionate about the craft as you are.
