Could you share a memorable moment or highlight from your journey with the Hairbrained Awards that has stayed with you over the years?

Wow, too many to mention! Numerous highlights stand out, but winning Creative Video and Color Video of the Year was particularly memorable. My favorite aspect is the unity and support within the hair community on award night. The genuine admiration for nominees and global participation of artists makes the event truly special.

In your opinion, what are the key qualities that set a Hairbrained Awards submission apart and make it stand out to the judging panel?

My take is to not only showcase exceptional craftmanship but also explore a unique perspective in the video. The beautiful thing about entering the Hairbrained awards is that there are not many rules, so you have ample room to really push your creativity both in hair and film.

What role do you see Hairbrained and similar platforms playing in the future of the beauty and hairstyling industry?

Online platforms are increasingly the primary for education, inspiration and recognition. Looking ahead, I hope these platforms embrace cutting-edge technology to enhance industry engagement and enjoyment.

What are your thoughts on the impact of social media and digital platforms in shaping the careers of today's hairdressers and artists?

I am happy that, as artists, we now have a platform to connect with a global community of fellow creators to showcase our craftsmanship and creativity. Nevertheless, it’s crucial to remember that the authenticity of our industry is built on the foundation of true craftsmanship, not merely the number of followers.
